Sustainability, knowledge and markets for the farmer.
Biodiversity & Soil Restoring Foundation
We are a foundation dedicated to transforming tropical agriculture in Latin America through agroforestry. We promote experiential and technical training for farmers so they can adopt sustainable practices, diversify their production systems, and share knowledge among communities and countries. We provide technical support, inclusive financing, and post-harvest solutions that improve product quality, add value, and open doors to demanding international markets. Furthermore, we assist farmers with certification processes, such as organic and fair trade, ensuring their products are competitive, sustainable, and globally recognized.
The name of the foundation is due to the fact that agroforestry is a new experience for the farmer, in all cases we start with the most degraded land or abandoned plantations, which allows us to generate a great impact because we are restoring biodiversity and returning life to the soil.
We believe that the engine of change is the people, and the new generations, so we motivate farmers and agricultural technicians, present in production areas, to train, obtain their diplomas and, if possible, specialize, because they will guarantee that this transformation continues up on time.

Vision
By 2035, we will be the leading network for the promotion and training of agroforestry in Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic, integrating farmers from tropical areas into production models that regenerate soils, protect forests, and ensure decent livelihoods.
Key axes
- Regional network of agroforestry farmers.
- Forest conservation and soil regeneration.
- Sustainable, traceable and high value-added production.
- Access to international markets through organic and fair trade certifications.
Goals
We support farmers in organic and fair trade certification processes, ensuring competitive, sustainable and internationally recognized products.
01
Promotion of Sustainable Agroforestry Systems
Promote the adoption of sustainable agroforestry systems in Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and the Dominican Republic, countries with tropical climates where forest conservation is key to rural development and climate change mitigation.
02
Strengthening the Capacities of Farmers
Develop the technical and productive capacities of farmers through practical training programs, exchange of experiences between communities and specialized and continuous technical assistance.
03
Diversification of Agricultural Income
Promote the diversification of agricultural income through crops such as coffee, cocoa, orange, passion fruit and ginger, reducing economic risks and improving the resilience of rural families.
04
Environmental Conservation and Biodiversity
Improve soil fertility, protect biodiversity and promote productive practices that contribute to the conservation of forest and agricultural ecosystems.
05
Regulatory Compliance and Sustainability Certifications
To assist producers in complying with international regulations, such as the European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), and to support sustainability certification processes to facilitate access to international markets.
